How do we do this?
We have the knowledge and skills that enable us to provide for the specific needs of the medical education community.
We have worked with the medical community for over twenty years, both in research and training.
What can you do?
You can let your family, attorney, and funeral services provider know that you would like to donate your whole body to our organization upon your death. This can be done even if you have already registered with another service.
What will happen to my body at the end of the study?
Depending on which service you choose, your body will be cremated and returned to the family, funeral home or buried at a cemetery.
Can I revoke this gift?
Yes, this can be done at any time.
How long will it be before my remains are returned to my family?
The remains are typically returned to the donor’s family within a year, but this may vary depending on when the remains were assigned to a teaching institution.
Funeral Visitation
Under certain conditions the donor family can still have a funeral with visitation. Ask your funeral service provider to contact us.
Refusal
We retain the right to refuse a donor based on certain medical and physical conditions. Donors under the age of 18 are not accepted.
